  3. A friend is a mirror...reflecting our soul,
  4. Shining back with a grace only we can know.
  5. Through the course of a lifetime
  6. And beyond all the years,
  7. A friend is one who shares laughter
  8. As well as shed tears.
  9. Broad smiles from the good times
  10. Seeing humor in the bad,
  11. Allowing us to grow from challenges
  12. That each one of us has had.
  13. Enjoying each other right from the start,
  14. All the laughing and crying
  15. Duly come from the heart.
  16. But the laughter prevails...removing all fear,
  17. Healing the mind, heart and soul
  18. Year after year. 
  19. Friends....
  20. United by chance? By Unworldly Hands?
  21. Tis not for us to know, nor even understand.
  22. For a friend is a mirror...reflecting our soul,
  23. Shining back with a grace only we can know.
